Contemporary Trends in Secondary Education in Pakistan; A Study On Learning Perspective

Abstract

To improve the quality of learning at secondary education, institutions worldwide are integrating different trends in the teaching and learning process, so is in Pakistan. The aim of this article was to examine various contemporary trends undertaken by various secondary education schools and there impacts on learning with a view to attain what are common perceptions of teachers in following trends and there impacts. The researcher undertook an elaborate review of existing TRENDS in various leading secondary school of Pakistan, such as career and technical education, technology based education, e-learning education, development of teacher’s skills, social media integration, stem education and genius hour. The researcher conducted interview of secondary education teachers and students and collected the responses. These responses will help determine the impacts different trends have made on learning of teacher and students both. More over implementing trends have played a major role in improving the learning process of secondary education teachers and students, as learning is an lifelong process and not only for students. Since covid-19 now it’s time that we adjust and get updated so that know we do not have to face anymore loss in education.
