Ethical Guidelines

Hamdard Educus is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics in scholarly publishing. The editorial board ensures that all submitted manuscripts are reviewed fairly, objectively, and without bias. Editors maintain confidentiality, make decisions based solely on academic merit and journal policy, and avoid any conflicts of interest during the editorial process. All submitted articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review to ensure quality and objectivity. Reviewers are expected to assess manuscripts fairly, maintain confidentiality, disclose any conflicts of interest, and not use any unpublished material for personal benefit.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is original, accurate, and free from plagiarism. Proper citations and acknowledgment of all sources are mandatory. Simultaneous submission to multiple journals is prohibited. Authorship should reflect only those who have made significant contributions to the research and writing. Any use of generative AI tools must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript, in accordance with the journal’s AI policy.

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software. Cases of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or any form of misconduct will result in immediate rejection, retraction, or disciplinary action, following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Authors, editors, and reviewers must declare any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence their work. If errors are discovered after publication, the journal may issue corrections, retractions, or editorial notices, and authors are expected to cooperate fully.

Authors must retain and provide raw data if requested for verification. Research involving human or animal subjects must follow approved ethical guidelines and include a formal ethics statement in the manuscript. Hamdard Educus follows an open access policy, allowing free and unrestricted access to all published content under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
